A Day in York

York, a beautiful city like stepping back into the middle ages. Although historic, it is beautified by its architecture.

It was a chill one- day trip to York. Here’s a quick review of our journey:

York Minster – one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe and also one of the most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in the world
St Mary’s Abbey
Harry Potter Shop – ‘The Shop That Must Not Be Named’

No matter if you are a Harry Potter fans or not, you should not miss visiting this shop in York!

The Shambles is one of the best- preserved medieval streets in the entire world.

MILLIE BEACH, 35, LOCAL

In my opinion, Shambles Street is unique because it is a narrow cobbled street with a mixture of shops and beautifully preserved Elizabethan buildings.

To sum up, I felt no regret spending my day here at York, although we weren’t able to join more interesting activities such as ghost walk and JORVIK Viking Centre.
