WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER!

Apparently, night clubs have become one of the entertainments of students nowadays. A night club is not merely a pub, a bar or a tavern but way more than that. Night clubs usually have a big space for dance floor and musics are played by DJs on the spot.

Back in Malaysia, we do have night clubs as well. The crowds back in Malaysia is more likely the same as the night clubs in the UK. Here are three major differences of night clubs in Malaysia and in the UK.

Night Club Space
Honestly, we are quite amazed by the clubs in the UK because they are surprisingly spacious (because they don’t look that huge from the outside)! Some night clubs like CODE Sheffield, they have two different spaces with different DJs playing different genres of songs which was something really new for us. Back in Malaysia, we have only one DJ stage, and only one common space for everyone which makes the clubbing area a lot smaller. This is because the clubs in Malaysia focus on getting people comfortable therefore they allocate more couches and sacrifice the space of the dance floor.

The Musics
Back in Malaysia, we have a mixture in club musics, this is because we have a multiracial culture, and most of the time, we are Eastern-influenced. Sometimes, we do encounter K-Pop songs or even Mandarin songs in Malaysian clubs. Whereas in the UK, we are very familiar with most of the songs and we love the good vibes in the UK clubs.

The People
The party people in the UK are very fun bunch to play with! The clubs are usually filled with people who come from different parts of the world. Even though we are strangers to each other, we dance and have fun together. The people here are very open-minded and they really love socializing with other people, meeting new faces is an easy duty for them!

To me, the UK was a dream come true, in terms of music and fashion. Going around and seeing minimalist girls mixed with hip-hop styles and posh couples – a bunch of people you never expect to be together in the same place… it’s unimaginable in another places in the world.

To conclude, the nightclub experience in the UK is something I’ll never forget. The vibes, the musics and of course the party people! It is really a place that would keep your problems at the back of your head temporarily.
